I am interesting in buying a data logger. I have never used one. I would like to use it for a number of applications. Logging refrigerator and freezer and also my smoker and Big Green Egg. So, I’m thinking a temperature range of 25-850F or so. Oh, I’d also like to log my bread dough temperatures during fermentation.

Is humidity a factor in purchasing the unit or probes?

I would appreciate any advice and recommendations for purchase.

Thanks
Dan

Dan, in the review section for the Fireboard, one comment says you can "use it on a BBQ rotisserie for monitoring meat temps while it spins!" Is this true? It seems this would require the probe to be wireless, not connected to the central unit. If so, I might buy one. Lamb legs are tricky to monitor temp while on the rotisserie.
